  2. When I was nine years old my Grandmother gave me a necklace with the image of the Virgin Guadalupe. Since the day she gave it to me, I always have worn it because I believe that it protects me wherever I go. For necessity I always seem to carry around my cell phone and extra money in case of an emergency. Also, in my thoughts I carry my family, relatives and friends, as well as how to be a better person each day.

  3. Well, I never really carried any physical object for luck. Also I've never really been a superstitious person to begin with.Plus, I don't have anything physical that was given to me by someone to carry around.Instead of objects I'm enriched with words of wisdom from my grandmother who recently passed. My mother has also instilled in me alot of strong faith and direction to carry around. In addition, I myself always think about achieveing my goals to allow my current situation to be better. As for necessities I carry around my wallet and cellphone everyday.

  4. I had a Mont Blanc pen that was given to me by a friend in the 1980's -- before Mont Blanc was well-known in the United States. I carried that pen for luck and was superstitious about carrying it and using it to sign important papers. I had the pen for about 15 years, loaned it to a co-worker and then when I realized she hadn't returned it went to get it back and she lied and said she had already given it back to me. I was devastated and completely freaked out for a couple of weeks. Since then I don't carry anything for luck or superstition.
For necessity I carry my wallet with my I.D. and credit cards.
I don't carry anything for anyone else -- but when I'm in a relationship I'm usually carting around his wallet when we're out and about so he doesn't have to have it in his pocket :)
In my thoughts I am burdened with the memory of my beloved and the shock of his sudden death, and grief that things ended up the way they did. I also carry memories of the good times we had, and how kind and wise and loving he was. I also carry the memory of his voice, especially how he spoke my name with an Arabic accent. I carry momentos of my first trip to Egypt in 2001: some coins on my keychain (some Egyptian coins have holes in the middle) and some paper money in my wallet.

  5. In my 18th birth my aunt, who I am very close to me gave me a gold necklace with a small medallion which has the picture of the image of “La Virgen Maria” (the Virgin Mary). Since the day that she gave it to me I have never taking it off, it is something very special to me that keep me safe.
In my care and in my wallet I have two secret images (one of “El NiƱo Dios” and the other of God in the cross) that were giving to me by my mom for protection, me and my family we are very religious. My mom had the images bless, so I could always be safe no matter where I went!
For necessity I of course carry my debit and credit cards, in rare occasion’s cash, my license. But most importantly my house and cars keys, because I don’t want to be locked out of my house like it has happen before  …. Usually for my boyfriend I tend to carry his keys and his wallet, because he tends to be very disorganize and forgetful.
What I will always carry in my thoughts would be the two love ones I have lost, my aunt who died 7 years ago, and my grandfather who just recently died about a month ago. It is hard to let go of your love ones, especially when you know that you will never see them again. But one thing that always remains is the many beautiful memories that you have, no matter what you know they will always be in your mind.

  7. I do not really believe in luck, if I ever feel I have gotten out of a situation that could have harmed me I believe it is Jesus or my lost ancestors protecting me. I am probably the most little superstitious person you will ever meet. The only times I am superstitious really are when I am in the gym and the weights on the barbell have to be facing the same way, some people feel it does not matter and some people live by it. I’m not sure if you can call this superstitious or not, but I currently wear two dog tags on my neck, one that my Aunt Stacy who was married to my deceased Uncle Jimmy gave me, this dog tag reads my name NICKY down the middle and I feel it reminds me of him and keeps me with his spirit. The other dog tag is different yet same meaning; it is my Grandfather Rudy's dog tag from the navy, who was married to my deceased Grandmother Antoinette. One thing I carry for necessity that I always have to have with me is my phone. Now its not that I am an ultra texter or anything, my cell phone has, one of the many things I enjoy living for, all of my music. What I honestly always carry in my thoughts that have happened recently is the future. I guess it is because I am getting older but I think about it a lot, for the good and for the bad. A person who I carry in my thoughts a lot is my older brother Michael. What is he doing, how is he feeling, is there anything wrong where I can help, is his girlfriend driving him crazy? He is without a doubt my favorite person in my life.

  8. I don’t carry anything for luck and I don’t believe in superstition so I don’t carry anything for that. For necessity I carry my wallet that holds my license my credit cards and my money. I also carry my house key for necessity. Sometimes I carry my boyfriend’s spare house key for him. In my thoughts I carry suspicion, I carry love, I carry trust, I carry happy thoughts and bad thoughts. I carry stress about everyday things and money.

  9. I’m not a superstitious person so therefore I do not carry any lucky charms. For necessity I carry money, car keys, driver license, cell phone and antibacterial gel. I’m obsessed with germs so I like to clean my hands a lot. I usually do not carry anything for others, but I always share with whatever I have. In my thoughts I carry a heavy load of concern for my whole family that lives in Poland.

I always feel as though i am not very good with luck. Maybe i need to find something that i believe brings me good luck. I always carry my wallet but even then i find myself forgetting it. I try to carry positive thoughts cause i can loose myself sometimes in everyday things like work and school. I get to caught up and stressed so i try to reassure myself i am doing it all for a reason a purpose. I try to make sure that love is always there cause being lonely and loveless thoughts lead only to misfortune.

  12. I don't carry anything with me foor good luck, i think luck comes by itself or maybe it doesn't even exist. I don't even believe on it, I always trust my self when I want to do something, or when I want something to happen.
